Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for the food industry. As a Server/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, efficiently handling transactions, and ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. • Take food and drink orders accurately using POS system. • Prepare food items according to safety and sanitation standards. • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures. • Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. • Ensure cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and maintaining sanitation standards. • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly. • Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and specials to assist customers effectively. Experience • Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. • Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. • Experience with cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. • Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus, particularly in quick service or fast food environments. • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. • Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated in a fast-paced environment.
