STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a Maintenance Mechanic to join the team. This position is responsible for repair and general maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment. Job Description • Completes maintenance requests via maintenance ticket system • Observes mechanical devices in operation to identify mechanical breakdown • Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove and replace defective parts • Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments • Installs special functional and structural parts in devices • Repairs electrical equipment • Performs general building maintenance including, painting, replacing light bulbs, replacing filters, and maintaining the exterior of the building for safety hazards (ie, shoveling, identifying trip and fall hazards) • Performs and maintains records for preventative maintenance • Has knowledge of building security and grants after hours building access as requested • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. • Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time • Other duties may be assigned as needed Qualifications Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations - Associate's degree or equivalent; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
