Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years relevant experience including 2+ years leadership, customer-focused selling, product knowledge, Microsoft Office skills, SAP preferred, valid driver’s license, and 50% travel.
Description: • Responsible for achieving assigned regional sales goals and growth through effective sales planning and execution • Works with members of the sales chain to achieve sales targets • Emphasizes growth through development of new customers as well as maintenance and growth of existing customers • Introduces and places new products with customers • Executes organizational initiatives and drives sales of key items with strategic customers for long-term growth • Collaborates directly with broker partners to drive consumer packaged goods execution and distribution • Trains and monitors the sales activities of Broker representatives • Plans for regional sales and assists with sales proposal developments • Meets directly with customers and key decision makers to maintain and increase sales • Implements and executes sales plans to promote product lines Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university • 5+ years’ relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a position of leadership to include team development and management • Solid understanding of customer focused and fact based selling • Understanding of product cuttings – comfort and knowledge of product attributes • Knowledge and experience with Apple software, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint • SAP experience preferred • Valid driver’s license • Willing and able to travel at least 50% Benefits: • robust, flexible and affordable benefit plans and programs • support for elective surgeries, weight loss, mental health, cancer, kidney disease, diabetes, smoking cessation, asthma, maternity management • comprehensive training and professional development programs • tuition assistance covering English language learning and various certificate programs • apprenticeship programs that combine hands-on experience with focused learning • Smithfield Scholarship Program for employees’ children • Education Reimbursement Program for obtaining a GED/High School Equivalency (HSE) Diploma or pursuing an academic degree
