We are seeking a Senior Director of Product Marketing to lead our Enterprise product marketing team and establish Smartsheet as the platform of choice for the world's most demanding organizations through differentiated messaging, compelling storytelling, and high-impact go-to-market strategies. This leader will mentor a high-performing team of senior product marketers and partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Excellence to drive measurable revenue impact and position Smartsheet as the de facto standard for intelligent work management across global enterprises. You will report to our VP of Product Marketing and may be based in our Bellevue, WA office (hybrid) or work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is a registered employer. You Will: Develop a deep understanding of enterprise customer needs, pain points, and buying behaviors to craft compelling narratives that differentiate Smartsheet in the market Define and execute the end-to-end product marketing strategy for our enterprise solutions, including positioning, messaging, value propositions, launches and go-to-market plans that resonate with enterprise decision-makers Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Excellence, and Product to define effective messaging, campaigns, playbooks, and demos that enable revenue growth Create compelling, customer-centric content that translates complex product capabilities into clear business value for enterprise audiences Serve as the lead spokesperson for our enterprise solutions in strategic customer interactions, analyst briefings, and industry events Leverage data-driven insights and customer research to continuously refine messaging strategies and measure business impact Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior product marketers—setting clear goals, providing guidance, and fostering a supportive, high-performing culture Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and executive leadership, influencing without authority to drive clarity and momentum Take on additional cross-functional leadership responsibilities as needed You Have: Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent discipline; MBA preferred 12+ years of product marketing experience in enterprise B2B SaaS; cloud and AI experience strongly preferred 7+ years of people management experience, with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing product marketing teams Deep understanding of enterprise software, with the ability to translate technical innovations into business value Demonstrated ability to define vision and strategy, translate them into actionable narratives and content, and deliver high-impact outcomes through product launches and campaigns Expertise in crafting clear, compelling, and differentiated messaging and content that resonates with enterprise buyers and stands out in the market Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging executives, industry analysts, and key stakeholders Strong cross-functional leadership skills with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success Data-driven mindset, leveraging customer insights and market research to continuously refine and validate messaging strategies Customer-obsessed approach with passion for solving complex enterprise problems Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment Current US Perks & Benefits: Medical/vision and dental coverage options for full-time employees 401k Match to help you save for your future (50% of your contribution up to the first 6% of your eligible pay) Monthly stipend to support your work and productivity Flexible Time Away Program, plus Sick Time Off US employees are automatically covered under Smartsheet-sponsored life insurance, short-term, and long-term disability plans US employees receive 12 paid holidays per year Up to 24 weeks of Parental Leave Personal paid Volunteer Day to support our community Opportunities for professional growth and development including access to Udemy online courses Company Funded Perks, including a counseling membership, local retail discounts, and your own personal Smartsheet account Teleworking options from any registered location in the U.S. (role specific) Smartsheet provides a competitive base salary range for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive incentive opportunity.
