Role SmarterDx is seeking an experienced Data Analytics Manager to lead a team of seasoned Product Analysts embedded across our suite of solutions. With Analysts integrated into different product teams, this role focuses heavily on driving consistency in how we use data to inform product discovery and evaluation of new feature development. As an Analytics Manager, you'll be responsible for people leadership, stakeholder engagement, and process design, while also contributing to the broader analytics architecture and execution strategy. You'll mentor your team, define best practices, and ensure analytics efforts are aligned with business goals across the organization. Learn more at smarterdx.com/careers. **This role is fully remote within the US** What You'll Do 40% Project & Stakeholder Management Lead high-value analytics initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve business outcomes and aligning cross-functional teams on shared goals Standardize analytics tools and processes across product lines to improve scalability and consistency Prioritize and advocate for analytics work that aligns with strategic company objectives Communicate clearly and regularly with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency in analyst-driven work 30% People Leadership & Team Development Cultivate a culture of innovation, curiosity, and initiative within the analytics team Mentor and support the career growth of your direct reports through regular feedback and coaching Assess team performance with structured, twice-a-year progress reviews Identify skills gaps or resourcing needs and escalate proactively 30% Analytics Strategy and Execution Champion analytics best practices and provide thought leadership across the organization Establish rigorous testing, validation, and data quality processes Oversee the development of metrics, dashboards, reports, and visualizations that drive business decisions Iterate and embrace continuous improvement in analytics methodologies Define and maintain data governance policies to ensure compliance and data integrity What You Bring 3-5+ years of experience managing senior analysts 2+ years working with healthcare data (clinical, billing, or both) Proven ability to lead analytics initiatives involving cross-functional stakeholders Experience in startups or scaling mid-sized businesses Technical skills: SQL (Advanced) BI/data visualization tools (Advanced) Python for data (Proficient) dbt (Proficient) Git (Familiar) Statistics (Familiar) Our Tech Stack Data Visualization: Hex and Evidence Analysis: Python & Data Science libraries (numpy, pandas, etc) Pipelines: Snowflake, dbt, airflow, git, and AWS Compensation $190,000 to $220,000 salary + equity incentives #LI-Remote Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision – Comprehensive plans with leading insurance providers, covering 90-100% of your premiums and 70-90% for dependents, depending on the plan.
