Role Overview: As a Software Engineer at Smarsh, you will play a critical role in developing and enhancing our software products. You will collaborate closely with Product Management and the engineering team to define features, implement solutions, and ensure high-quality software delivery. What You'll Do: - You will collaborate with Product Management and engineering teams to define and implement new features. - You will investigate, diagnose, and fix software bugs to maintain product reliability. - You will write automated unit, functional, and integration tests to ensure code quality. - You will utilize JIRA to track and manage your work within the ticketing system. - You will participate in code reviews to maintain coding standards and share knowledge. - You will contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools. - You will assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues as needed. What You Bring: - 3+ years of professional software engineering experience. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or similar. - Experience with automated testing frameworks and writing unit and integration tests. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Knowledge of compliance and archiving software or financial services industry. - Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker. - Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
