At Smalls, we believe cats deserve better — fresher food, healthier lives, and happier humans to serve them. We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to help us keep tails wagging (well, flicking) long after a customer’s first box. You’ll lead the charge on building and executing our retention strategy, uncovering why cat parents stay, and designing product experiences that make them purr with delight. What You'll Do: Build and execute the retention strategy, making sure our customers stay delighted with Smalls long after their first box. Identify and improve product-led retention levers—from onboarding flows to subscription management to new feature adoption. Diagnose and act on churn signals, working closely with data, CX, and marketing to understand and address the “why” behind customer drop-off. Drive cross-functional execution, leading design, engineering, marketing & operations teams to deliver thoughtful solutions that balance business outcomes which customers love. Use experimentation, user feedback, and behavior analysis to validate hypotheses, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement. Champion a product culture at Smalls—where insights, learning, and customer empathy guide how we build. What we'll love about you: 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with a mix of subscription, consumer, or eCommerce. Comfort with retention and growth metrics (AOV, churn, LTV) and the ability to use them to shape strategy and prioritization. Hands-on experience running experiments and A/B testing, with strong analytical and hypothesis-driven problem solving. A track record of leading cross-functional teams and rallying stakeholders across engineering, design, and marketing. Strong communication skills—you can simplify complexity, inspire collaboration, and keep teams aligned. Bias for action, strong prioritization instincts, and a customer-first mindset. Thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments, and enjoy taking big ideas from concept to launch to iteration.
