Job Summary The Administrative Fellow will gain hands-on experience in nonprofit administration by supporting the daily operations of SLMG CO-OP’s cooperative education program and back-office functions. The Fellow will assist with organizing program files, researching and documenting program-related information, and coordinating meetings and events. Additional tasks may be assigned by the Board of Directors, Executive Director, Consortium Partners, or leadership team as needed. This fellowship offers a valuable opportunity to develop administrative and organizational skills in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. This is a part-time, unpaid fellowship requiring a 1-year commitment. Fellows are expected to work at least 15 hours per week and may work remotely from anywhere in the United States. This position reports to the SLMG CO-OP Board of Directors and Executive Director. Duties & Responsibilities • Organize, manage, and maintain program initiative files and documentation in accordance with organizational standards. • Research, compile, and accurately record program-related information to support planning, development, and reporting efforts. • Coordinate logistics for board meetings and organizational events, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and distributing materials. • Assist with internal staff engagement activities to promote collaboration and morale across teams. • Support social media management by drafting content, scheduling posts, and monitoring engagement across platforms. • Collaborate with the SLMG CO-OP Leadership to ensure efficient back-office operations. • Perform additional administrative and project-based tasks as assigned by the Board of Directors, Executive Director, Consortium Partners, or leadership team. Requirements Experienice • 1 year - Administrative work or a related role (Required). • 1 year - Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar, Gmail) (Required). Knowledge, Skills, Abilities • High-level organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy (Required). • Basic understanding of nonprofit administration and office operations. • Familiarity with organizing digital files, scheduling tools, and event planning logistics. • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Understanding of professional communication and confidentiality standards in administrative settings. • Ability to coordinate meetings, prepare materials, and support event logistics. • Ability to engage with team members and support internal communication and engagement efforts. • Ability to adapt to new tools, tasks, and team needs as assigned. • Reliable access to a laptop/desktop computer and mobile device for remote work (Required). Education • Bachelor's degree in Non-Profit Administration or a related field, which has been completed within 3 years or less than the date of application (Required) • Current Graduate student pursuing a degree in Non-Profit Administration or a related field.
