We have an urgent requirement for Palo Alto/Forti Network Administrator (37.5 Hr/week Part-time) position with our client. Role: Palo Alto/Forti Network Administrator (37.5 Hr/week Part-time) Location: Ny, New York Duration: 30 Months Job ID: SLG - 26 - 11588 Client: NY State - Department of Financial Services Description Supporting the Department's hybrid security infrastructure. Duties • Install, configure, and manage firewall Security appliances in a high availability architecture. Patch and maintain the appliance with all relevant security and upgrade software. • Implement changes to address new initiatives or application requirements as needed. Monitor and support the VPN solution to ensure high availability in a secure manner. • Create Firewall rules, Vnets, express routes as required. Monitor security center for compliance for all relevant security benchmarks andstandards. Assist in creating ARM as needed. • Produce network diagrams and documentation as well as document standards, policies, and procedures. • Mentor staff Mandatory Requirements • Experience (14+ Years) • Maintains computer infrastructures with emphasis on networking. Key areas of expertise are with on-site servers, software-network interactions and network integrity/resilience. Requirements • This is an 100% Onsite. • 84 months of Administration & Engineering experience with Palo Alto and/or Fortinet firewalls • 84 months of experience with Panorama and/or FortiManager management systems • 84 months of experience designing and documenting networks • 84 months of network experience with: Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks, TCP/IP, switching and routing protocols. • 84 months of experience with developing and deploying BGP routing solutions • R sum • Copy of Candidate Identification (i.e., Driver's License/Green Card/Visa and Passport if applicable) • Any documents referenced in the above Requested Qualifications (i.e., professional certifications, degrees, etc.)
