Minimum 5+ years B2B sales experience in poultry or related sectors, strong network in poultry industry, sales management background, willingness to travel extensively, and relevant education.
SKOV is a global leader in climate and farm management solutions. To support SKOV’s growth in North America, we are looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager with expertise and strong network in the poultry (broiler and breeder) industry. You will play a key role in expanding SKOV’s footprint in the North American poultry market by developing strong relationships with dealers and key industry stakeholders, ultimately driving the sales of SKOV’s advanced climate systems. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and have a passion for connecting and building long-term relationships with customers. Responsibilities include Drive direct sales to producers, integrators and large-scale operations in the broiler and breeder segments Identify and connect with decision-makers at the executive and operational level Develop tailored proposals and lead high-value sales negotiations Follow up on deliveries and coordinate service through SKOV’s Customer Center and Global Service teams Build strategic relationships with key accounts to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and repeat business Collaborate with key dealers and partners to expand SKOV’s local presence, ensuring alignment with the overall direct sales strategy Collaborate closely with the Regional Director and project teams to develop tailored, high-level solutions Ensure strong communication between the market and headquarters regarding customer needs and trends Manage sales budgets and follow up on deliveries, coordinating with SKOV’s Customer Center and Global Service teams Represent SKOV at trade shows, exhibitions, and training events What You Bring Strong network and reputation within the US poultry industry, especially among producers, integrators and decision-makers in broiler and breeder production Proven ability to open new doors and build relationships at the executive level Experience with technical or capital equipment sales in agriculture, livestock or related sectors Consultative sales mindset, capable of understanding customer needs and developing tailored solutions Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills A proactive, self-driven approach with persistence and commercial acumen Technical knowledge of poultry or farming systems (training on SKOV’s technologies will be provided) Qualifications & Experience Minimum 5+ years in B2B direct sales, preferably within poultry, livestock or related industries Background as a Sales Manager, Key Account Manager or Business Development Manager Education in agriculture, engineering or business Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively across the US (70–80%) with occasional trips to Denmark Success in this Role Looks Like Expanding SKOV’s presence and reputation in the US poultry market Building long-term, high-value relationships with top producers and integrators Driving measurable sales growth within the broiler and breeder segments Becoming a trusted advisor to SKOV’s customers through technical understanding and reliable service About SKOV SKOV North America, Inc. is a subsidiary of the Danish company SKOV A/S, which is headquartered in Denmark, and it has been around since the middle of the 1960s.
