Overview Role: Slalom Flex (Project Based) – Senior Technical Project Manager Location: Remote supporting EST working hours What You’ll Do • Produce weekly/monthly reports • Understand the client’s business challenges to help craft effective solutions that address client needs and achieve desired outcomes • Proactively identify risks and resistance; help develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns • Work on projects independently and as part of a team • Coordinate resources and manage risks with technical and non-technical teams to ensure smooth project execution • Develop relationships and build trust • Lead and manage technical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives • Collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership to define project scope, goals, and deliverables • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations • Monitor progress and proactively address risks and issues • Facilitate regular status meetings and provide clear communication to all stakeholders • Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle • Interface with IT team members, business owners, vendors, and leaders to drive projects forward under tight timelines with guidance from program managers and subject matter experts What You’ll Bring • 4+ years of experience in program/project management specifically for network infrastructure projects • Ability to hit the ground running as a Technical Project Manager • Ability to work independently • Classic program/project management skills • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills • Ability to develop relationships • Ability to be a natural business partner and trusted advisor • A strong sense of urgency, focused on business context and value delivered • Consulting experience preferred • Network/carrier/telephony systems experience preferred • Healthcare industry experience preferred • Demonstrated ability to manage projects under tight timelines • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement • Experience working with program managers and SMEs to guide project execution • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies About Slalom Slalom is a fiercely human business and technology consulting company that leads with outcomes to bring more value, in all ways, always. Additional benefits include a yearly $350 reimbursement for well-being expenses and discounted home, auto, and pet insurance. The hourly pay range for this position is $65/hr–$75/hr. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other factors. This range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
