This is a Director or Senior Director role with one of Slalom’s global teams – we are open to hiring in many locations and travel will be required as needed by our clients. Who You’ll Work With Our global industry team provides our clients deep industry perspectives and enhances our differentiation by applying context and insights unique to the industry segments we serve. Our industry expertise is critical to the success of our customers, partners, and people and enables us to deliver more impactful and transformational work. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Industry Lead to drive Slalom’s growth in Aerospace. We will consider Director to Senior Director candidates. Industry Expertise • Set the vision for and lead the direction of the aerospace industry at Slalom; establish industry targets and develop overall aerospace industry strategy. • Advise clients on business and technology transformations working with senior business and functional leaders to understand key business drivers, define strategic needs, and develop future business capabilities leveraging industry best practices. • Mature our aerospace industry community, develop our experts and industry offerings, and sharing our stories. • Regularly attend industry conferences and share learnings with other Industry Practitioners and clients. Business Growth • Ensure the interconnections between the business processes, technology, data, and people work together to drive performance throughout the enterprise. • Partner with account leaders to develop growth plans and drive accountability to achieve targets. • Serve as a leader within our Global Industry Community and steward of Slalom’s core values, demonstrating a daily growth mindset and passion for people. • Contribute to business development and solutioning conversations across multiple Slalom markets & clients. • Responsible for $7M+ (Director) to $12M+ (Sr Director) direct revenue annually, with incremental growth Partnerships and Alliances • Drive connections and strategy with our Global Partners (such as the Aerospace leaders at AWS, Microsoft, Salesforce, Google, Snowflake, and others) to best serve our aerospace clients together. What You’ll Bring • Passion for building expertise in aerospace that enables you to work with our clients to solve their most critical and complex business challenges. • At least 10 years of experience working in the aerospace industry in areas such as; digital factories, data driven manufacturing, supply chain optimization, sales & service tooling and sustainability. • 10+ years’ experience working in the consulting services industry supporting aerospace customers. • Entrepreneurial mindset. This includes driving significant growth with our clients, transformational outcomes, and creating new approaches to reach those outcomes. • An understanding of major trends and technology disruptions within aerospace and be able to identify and advise clients on opportunities created by those disruptions. • Proven experience and leadership in areas such as: • Competitive Research & Analysis • Benchmarking • Strategic Planning & Roadmap Development • Operating Model Development • Business Case Development • Business Process Design & Implementation • Program Management • Executive Stakeholder Management • Business & Technical Transformation • Change Management • Account Leadership • Experience presenting/speaking at an industry conference, hosting an industry-focused expert panel, and/or be published in an industry publication. • You have experience setting and achieving ambitious 5-year financial targets across diverse markets. This entails a keen focus on identifying industry trends and growth areas, allowing you to craft insightful thought leadership and innovative solutions. • You have successfully been able to identify strategic accounts within the industry and formulate effective cross-market account strategies. Actively sought out target/greenfield accounts, taking the lead in negotiating and driving new Master Service Agreements (MSAs). • You have played a crucial role in supporting procurement and pricing strategies tailored to the unique dynamics of the industry. • You have cultivated marketing and alliance partnerships to enhance market presence. • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. This role will require time in a Slalom office, at client site and ability to work remote. Candidates should be comfortable with a hybrid work environment, prioritizing client facing needs as appropriate. Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the targeted base salary pay range for Director level is $200,000 to $250,000. The targeted base salary pay range for Senior Director level is $230,000 to $290,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
