Role Description We are seeking a full-time Lighting Program Manager to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI. This hybrid role allows for a combination of on-site and remote work. The Lighting Program Manager will oversee the design, development, and implementation of automotive lighting projects. Key responsibilities include project planning, coordinating cross-functional teams, liaising with clients, ensuring adherence to specifications, and monitoring project timelines and budgets. The role involves driving project success while meeting customer expectations and maintaining high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring strong communication and relationship management • Lead global cross-functional teams (CFT) to successfully deliver program milestones • Manage overall program timing, deliverables, and project milestones • Oversee program budgets, cost tracking, and financial performance • Coordinate and lead customer and internal program review meetings (PDT, design, quality, and specification reviews) • Maintain and drive resolution of open issues with key stakeholders • Partner with Sales and Engineering teams to support cost resolution and cost-reduction initiatives • Prepare and present project updates, meeting agendas, and executive summaries • Allocate and manage program resources, budgets, and project hours • Ensure compliance with internal program management systems and processes • Lead complex program activities with a high level of ownership and accountability • Support domestic and international travel as required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 4–7 years of automotive Program Management experience or similar project leadership experience • Experience supporting at least one full product development lifecycle • Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies (PMBOK preferred) • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project • Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities • Ability to work independently while collaborating across global teams • • Prior automotive product development experience strongly preferred
