SUMMARY The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance and field service projects to ensure operational reliability and customer satisfaction. This role focuses on managing preventive and corrective maintenance initiatives, service upgrades, and field operations projects, delivering all work on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle, including scope definition, resource planning, implementation, and post-project performance review. Reports directly to the Director of Field Services. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. * Develop and manage project plans for maintenance and field service initiatives, including documenting requirements, settingobjectives, and achieving milestones to ensuretimelyand cost-effective delivery. * Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, ensuring minimal service disruption and compliance with operational standards. * Manage cross-functional stakeholders—such as engineering, procurement, and field technicians—through regular communication and project meetings to keep all parties informed and aligned. * Assign and delegate responsibilities to field teams; provide direction, motivation, and oversight to ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to safety protocols. * Maintainaccurateproject documentation, including progress reports, milestone tracking, and executive summaries for internal and external stakeholders. * Evaluate existing maintenance processes and systems;identifyopportunities for improvement and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality. * Generate reporting and visibility for leadership to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. * Travel occasionally to field sites to inspect work progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to project specifications. * Communicate directly with clients and property managers to provide updates on maintenance schedules, service interruptions, and project timelines. * Review financial data and prepare project budgets tooptimizecosts andmaintainprofitability. * Collaborate with HR and operations teams to develop and implement guidelines for technician training, performance evaluations, and resource allocation. * Achieve strategic goals and KPIs related to maintenance efficiency, service uptime, and customer satisfaction. * Oversee telecommunication construction projects, including fiber optic and structured cabling installations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations. * Coordinate permitting, utilitylocates, and right-of-way requirements for constructionactivitiesas necessary. * Monitor contractor performance and enforce quality assurance for construction deliverables. * Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Field Services and Vice President of Operations. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS * Strong understanding of maintenance operations, field service workflows, and customer experience principles. * Ability toidentifyand resolve project-impacting issues quickly and effectively. * Knowledge of technologies and materials used in telecommunications and field service environments. * In-depth knowledge of telecommunication construction practices, including fiber installation, splicing, trenching, and aerial plant work. * Familiarity with permitting processes, construction safety standards, and local/state regulations related to telecom infrastructure. * Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and drive results in a dynamic environment. * Familiarity with budgeting, invoicing, purchase orders, and cost-control practices. * Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with all organizational levels. * Proficiencyin CRM, ERP, and maintenance management systems. * Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite: Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
