Job Title: Part-Time Service Attendant Location: Budget Mini Storage, San Mateo Overview: Do you have a positive, friendly attitude and enjoy helping others? If so, we’d love to hear from you! We’re looking for an energetic, customer-focused individual to join our team at our premier self-storage facility in San Mateo, CA. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Service Attendant who can deliver excellent customer service while supporting the facility with sales assistance, general maintenance, and janitorial tasks. Please note: This role requires working outdoors on the property. This hands-on position also requires the ability to lift, move, and carry items as needed, helping keep the property safe, clean, and welcoming for all customers. Schedule Requirements: - Must be available to work the full Saturday shift - Monday and Wednesday shifts offer some flexibility to accommodate outside obligations Regular Schedule: - Mondays: 12:00 PM – 5:30 PM - Wednesdays: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM - Saturdays: 12:00 PM – 5:30 PM - All shifts include a 30-minute unpaid lunch Please note: The work schedule may be adjusted based on the facility’s operational needs. Essential Duties: - Maintain a clean, well-kept facility by ensuring the property, storage units, and grounds are regularly cleaned and cared for - Perform minor repairs as needed and complete routine lock checks to ensure unit security - Assist tenants during the move-in process, helping create a smooth and welcoming experience. - Confidently follow and execute the company’s sales process when assisting new and prospective customers and enjoy the opportunity to earn quarterly bonuses. Travel: - Drive to the hardware store for property repair or maintenance items. - Attend meetings off-site for the company training. License: - Must be able to drive and possess a valid driver's license.
