Composite Technician – 1st/2nd Shift Pay: $18–$19/hour Location: Brea, Ca 92821 Job Type: Full-time 1st shift/2nd shift available M-F Job Summary We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented worker to help make aerospace parts. You’ll work with materials like fabrics and tapes, prepare molds, and get parts ready for curing in a special oven called an autoclave. If you have experience in assembly, bonding, sheet metal, or laminating, that’s helpful but not required. What You’ll Do • Follow step-by-step instructions, blueprints, and work orders • Measure and record key data for parts • Prepare molds and apply materials to them • Remove air pockets and make sure materials fit tightly • Trim parts with hand tools (scissors, knives) • Apply vacuum bags to parts for proper curing • Mix resins and catalysts when needed • Check work as you go and document results • Meet strict quality standards for aerospace parts • Work with teammates to meet production goals Requirements • High school diploma or GED • Able to follow detailed instructions carefully • Comfortable with measuring, recording data, and handling materials • Able to work standing and bending for long periods • Comfortable using adhesives and chemicals (PPE provided) • Able to work in a fast-paced, team environment Bonus Skills (Not required) • Riveting • Sheet metal work • Laminating • Forming or shaping materials • Bonding Work Environment • Standing, bending, and repetitive tasks • Working with adhesives and chemicals (PPE provided) • Safety- and quality-focused production floor Benefits • 401(k) matching • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Paid time off Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
