Skills Alliance is working with a PE-backed Metalworking Fluids and Surface Pretreatment manufacturer, seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Technical Sales Manager to drive growth in new territories across Ohio. This fully remote, permanent role offers you the chance to become part of a thriving organization at the forefront of the Metalworking Fluids & Surface Pretreatment industry. Your role will be pivotal in building relationships, providing technical expertise, and leading our client's business development efforts. Overview: • Proven ability to identify and cultivate new business opportunities, ensuring continuous market expansion. • Extensive technical understanding of Metalworking Fluids or Surface Pretreatment to lead application engineering, product recommendations, and product trials. • Background in direct customer sales, showcasing exceptional communication and negotiation skills to maintain and grow client relationships. • Comprehensive knowledge to guide technical discussions and deliver customized solutions that meet diverse client requirements. Requirements: • 7+ years' commercial experience in Metalworking Fluids or Surface Pretreatment • 3+ years' experience in R&D, Application, Technical Service or similar • BSc in Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent preferred but not essential The role offers a competitive base salary DOE, uncapped commission, car allowance and wider benefits.
