Procurement Category Manager, Americas | Global Chemicals Business | Texas I’m currently supporting a search for a Procurement Category Manager, Americas, based in The Woodlands, Texas, within a global specialty chemicals organisation. This is a highly strategic regional procurement role focused on raw materials, supplier strategy, value chain analysis, supply security, and commercial negotiations across the Americas market. Key focus areas include: ▪️ Regional procurement strategy execution ▪️ Supplier negotiations & contract management ▪️ Market intelligence & value chain analysis ▪️ Alternative supplier qualification & risk mitigation ▪️ Stakeholder management across regional/global teams ▪️ Supply disruption & crisis management ▪️ Value transformation initiatives ▪️ Supplier performance management (OTIF, risk, sustainability etc.) ▪️ Digital procurement transformation The business is specifically interested in candidates coming from reputable multinational environments and similar organisations, particularly individuals with strong procurement foundations, strategic thinking capability, and experience navigating complex/volatile markets.
