We’re seeking a proactive, relationship-driven Membership Manager to oversee the full member journey from recruitment and onboarding to engagement and renewals. This role is central to shaping the future of Women Leading Travel as it scales under Skift’s umbrella. Some of What You’ll Do In this role, you will grow and sustain a thriving membership community. You’ll cultivate strong relationships with members, partners, and advisory boards while providing insights and data to guide strategy and decision-making. Oversee the full membership lifecycle: application review, approval, onboarding, engagement, retention, and renewals. Track and analyze membership data and budgets to identify trends and measure progress toward goals. Lead recruitment campaigns, including outreach to former members and follow-ups from events and referrals. Manage the Member Ambassador Program and member meetups, including city selection, logistics, venues, signage, and collateral. Write monthly member letters and corporate partner updates. Oversee Advisory Board communications, annual contracts, and backend operations. Partner with Events, Marketing, Sales, and Brand teams to ensure alignment and impact. The Experience You Bring 3–5 years of experience in membership, community management, or client success ideally in media, associations, or events. Proven track record driving renewals, managing recruitment, and growing membership programs. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple outreach cycles and events simultaneously. Experience with CRM systems, membership platforms, and data analysis. A self-starter mindset who thrives in a collaborative, asynchronous remote environment.
