Sitemetric seeks a bar-raising Brand Communications Director to define and elevate our content and presentation standards across all channels, while coaching teams in targeted, value-adding areas to ensure every stakeholder consistently delivers exceptional customer value and experience. You will play a central role working with executive leadership, other managers and teams, and external providers to develop and refine high-impact materials for marketing, sales, business development, and internal processes, ensuring all content reflects Sitemetric’s brand values, culture, and strategic objectives to benefit customers. You will also work with individual employees and groups to assess and improve their skills across presentation, teamwork, leadership, and other areas as needed. About the Role As Brand Communications Director, you will work closely with leaders across Marketing, Sales, Business Development, HR, and other areas, along with external providers, to develop high-impact materials including marketing collateral, web pages, sales proposals, pitch decks, customer reports, mini-books, internal messaging, and others—while ensuring each reflects Sitemetric’s brand values, strategic objectives, and market positioning, while always maximizing customer value and experience. You will also work with individual employees and teams to assess and improve their skills across presentation, teamwork, leadership, and other areas as needed, developing structured plans that will benefit individual, group, and organization alike. Overall, you will serve as a key voice within the business, ensuring all branded and internal materials and employee capabilities/performance reflect Sitemetric’s brand values, culture, and strategic objectives and are always designed to resonate deeply with customers, internal audiences, and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Core responsibilities include: • Develop and refine high-impact strategic materials including marketing collateral (brochures, newsletters, etc.), web pages, sales proposals, pitch decks, customer reports, job descriptions, mini-books, internal messaging and others to build awareness and interest in Sitemetric • Work closely with internal teams including Marketing, Sales, Business Development, HR, and others to conceptualize, execute, and refine materials, incorporating internal and external feedback as needed • Collaborate with and review the work of external providers including Advertising, Public Relations, and others to ensure they are high-impact and align with Sitemetric’s brand values, strategic objectives, and market positioning • Deploy a story/narrative-driven approach to boost the impact (awareness, memorability) of key materials such as case examples (e.g., Lead the Change: Stories from the Field website section), customer testimonials, and mini-books • Work with executives and other leaders to identify organizational/individual development needs (presentation skills, teamwork, others) at all levels and craft plans for individual- and group-level execution • Stay current with current content, coaching, and construction-industry trends to maximize impact and drive continuous improvement and innovation Core Skills Qualified candidates should demonstrate evidence of these core skills: • Impeccable written and verbal communication across all formats, media, and channels • Ability to use data and internal/external feedback to inform marketing, sales, internal messaging, and other materials across business domain, especially in the technology space, always with a sharp focus on the end-customer • Teamwork skills including alignment of disparate groups through consensus around key communications and messaging • Assessment and coaching of employees across levels, including development of structured plans for improvement of key skills • Cross-functional collaboration and leadership Qualifications Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Business Administration, Journalism, or related field with strong focus on communications (advanced degree preferred: Master’s/PhD) • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading content development and coaching within a corporate environment, ideally technology (construction-industry experience preferred) • Proven success developing marketing/sales, internal messaging, and other high-impact materials, ideally within technology space (construction-industry experience preferred) • Extensive experience providing coaching and feedback to and developing improvement plans for professionals of all levels • Strong content creation and copywriting skills for traditional, web, social, email, and other communications • Excellent project management and communication skills across functions • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn new productivity tools as needed • Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening process (drug screen and background checks) Perks & Benefits As part of the Sitemetric team, you'll receive: • Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications • Health, dental and vision insurance for full-time employees • 401(k) eligibility • Eligible for discretionary bonus, based upon individual, team, and company-wide performance targeted to be up to 20% of annual base salary. • Accrued paid sick leave for all employees • Flexible paid time off • Employee referral bonus plan includes $100 for each referred candidate that completes a minimum of three (3) consecutive calendar months of service with Sitemetric. The base pay for this position ranges from $165,000 to $185,000 per year. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and jobsite upon which work is being performed, and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, and experience.
