We have a large base of Korean-speaking clients, so fluency in Korean is a must. Position Overview: We are looking for an associate attorney to handle fast-growing litigation matters as well as maintain the existing practice areas. Responsibilities: - Work closely with Principal attorney and paralegals to manage any and all of assigned cases and related legal tasks. - Draft, review, and file a wide range of legal documents. We place the highest value on producing clear, thorough, and well-crafted legal work to ensure that our clients are provided the highest quality of services. - Conduct thorough initial consultations with clients to assess their needs and provide legal guidance as needed; Also, maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed of case progress and timely responding to their questions and concerns with care. - Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations, advocating for their best interests. - Communicate and negotiate with counsel and third parties to resolve cases efficiently and effectively, always for the best interest of clients. - Always stay up-to-date on changes in law and related legal procedures. We maintain a deep understanding of relevant statutes, court rules, and case law. - Manage a diverse caseload and balance multiple matters with strong attention to detail, organization and time management. Requirements: - JD from an accredited law school and license to practice law in Illinois - Ability to speak and write in Korean fluently - Strong work ethic and active communication skills - Commitment to client-focused service. - Positive and self-motivated attitude - Time management skills to meet strict deadlines Compensation: A competitive salary with benefits, as well as a bonus structure commensurate with ability and willingness to develop opportunities for professional growth.
