Team Summary The Technical Solutions Education Manager is part of our dedicated Siplast team. Siplast offers a uniquely segmented and dedicated portfolio of building enclosure solutions for the commercial construction market. This position is remote based and will support our sales and customers across the US and Canada. Travel will be required approximately 50-60% to various events and off site meetings. Job Summary The Technical Solutions Education Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering comprehensive technical training programs for Siplast premium commercial roofing solutions. This position blends deep technical expertise with a strong educational acumen, acting as a key resource for clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and the Siplast sales team. The Technical Solutions Education Manager will be responsible for understanding complex product applications, creating engaging educational content, and championing Siplast products through effective knowledge transfer. Essential Duties Technical Education & Training Development: • Serve as the primary technical expert for Siplast roofing and building enclosure systems, developing in-depth product knowledge, application guidance, and code compliance training materials. • Design and develop comprehensive training curricula, modules, and workshops for diverse audiences, including architects, specifiers, engineers, contractors, and internal sales teams. • Create and update educational resources such as presentations, manuals, videos, and online learning modules that effectively communicate product specifications, installation best practices, and innovative solutions. • Ensure all training materials are current, accurate, and align with industry standards and building codes. • Collaborate with product management and marketing teams to integrate new product information and key messaging into training programs. Training Delivery & Facilitation: • Conduct engaging and interactive technical presentations and training sessions both in-person and virtually for external partners and internal sales teams. • Facilitate hands-on training workshops on product application and installation techniques. • Provide expert guidance and support during training sessions, answering technical questions and addressing participant challenges. • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and assessments, making continuous improvements to content and delivery. • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges related to product application or performance during training. Sales Enablement & Market Insight: • Work closely with the Siplast sales force to identify training needs and provide customized educational support to drive product understanding and adoption. • Support the sales team by providing technical expertise during client presentations when advanced product education is required. • Participate in client meetings, industry events, and trade shows to represent Siplast and promote the company's educational capabilities. • Gather market intelligence and customer feedback during training sessions to inform product development and innovation strategies. • Provide insights to the product management team on market needs, performance requirements, and emerging opportunities for new or enhanced Siplast educational solutions. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering (Civil, Structural, or Materials Science), Construction Management, Education, or a related technical field. Minimum of 7+ years of experience in the commercial roofing, building envelope, or construction materials industry, with a strong emphasis on technical training, education, or product application. Proven ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and building codes. Deep understanding of commercial roofing systems, including modified bitumen, liquid-applied membranes, and related building enclosure components. Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and delivering technical training programs to diverse audiences. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information in an engaging and understandable manner. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented approach. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams. Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), presentation software, and Google Office Suite. Travel Requirements: Ability to travel extensively (up to 50-75%) to conduct training sessions, attend industry events, and support project needs. Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.
