Role Description • Review shipment details and audit PODs for accuracy (shipper, consignee, weights, pieces, etc.). • Verify multistop shipments have a signed POD for each stop. • Ensure that all vendor-billed accessorials are passed through to the customer invoice. • Follow special invoicing rules for designated customers (e.g., one invoice per email, reference matching). • Generate and send invoices via Tai TMS with complete, accurate documentation. • Support the collections process by ensuring invoices are clean and documented. • Track exceptions and communicate missing documents to relevant teams. • Follow up on overdue customer balances. • Document follow-up activity and escalate unresolved issues to management as needed. • Monitor trends in short-pays, disputes, or slow-pay customers and assist in documentation and resolution. Ideal Candidate: • Is detail-oriented and organized. • Has a good understanding of financial or logistics concepts. • Excels at working with numbers and checking for accuracy. • Can learn new systems and processes quickly. • Thrives in a team setting with collaboration and cross-checking but is still able to stay on track without supervision.
