Role Summary The Parts Operations Manager oversees end-to-end supply chain operations supporting the distribution of aerial equipment parts. This role ensures material availability, cost control, supplier performance, and on-time delivery while managing suppliers and complex components. Key Responsibilities • Manage procurement, material planning, inventory control, and logistics for aerial equipment parts • Develop and maintain supplier relationships for hydraulics, electronics, and components • Lead demand planning and forecasting aligned with sales, production, and service requirements • Monitor inventory levels to balance production continuity and working capital efficiency • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and contracts with domestic and international suppliers • Identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies (dual sourcing, safety stock, localization) • Coordinate inbound logistics, customs, and freight for international suppliers • Partner with Manufacturing, Distributing and Product teams on supplier qualification and change management • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in cost, lead time, and supplier performance Qualifications • 5–10+ years of supply chain or procurement experience in heavy equipment, machinery, or similar industry. • Strong understanding of BOMs, MRP/ERP systems, and production planning • Experience sourcing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components • Knowledge of global supply chains, import/export, and logistics • Strong analytical, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills Preferred Background • OEM manufacturing environment (aerial equipment, construction equipment, or industrial machinery) • Experience working with Asian and North American suppliers • ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
