Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Independent Insurance Agent and Office Manager to lead our insurance sales operations and manage daily office functions. This role requires a versatile professional with strong sales, negotiation, and customer service skills, capable of expanding our client base through outside sales efforts and maintaining excellent client relationships. The ideal candidate will be bilingual or multilingual, possess analysis skills, and have experience in insurance sales, retail sales, and sales administration. As an integral part of our team, you will oversee marketing initiatives, benefits administration, and ensure compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to grow within a supportive environment. This role will be a 3 hour a weekday role paid at $16 a hour which will include taking phone calls and re-shopping current policies. You also will have the ability to work more if you'd like to work on sales at a commission only rate. Sales for new business/cross sales will be paid out at a 80/20 split. We will get you set up with all of our carriers and provide you with leads/cross sell opportunities to set you up for success. Duties • Develop and execute outside sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand market presence • Conduct insurance consultations, explain policy options, and negotiate terms with clients • Manage retail sales activities, including telemarketing efforts to generate leads and follow-ups • Administer sales processes through effective sales administration practices • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly • Lead marketing initiatives to promote insurance products and increase brand awareness • Oversee benefits administration for clients, ensuring proper documentation and compliance • Maintain thorough analysis of market trends to identify new opportunities for growth • Ensure adherence to industry regulations such as HIPAA during all client interactions • Manage office operations efficiently, including scheduling, documentation, and team coordination Experience • Proven experience in insurance sales or related retail sales roles (must be licensed or willing to get licensed in AZ, IL, MI, MO, NC, OK, TN, TX and WI • Strong outside sales background with demonstrated negotiation skills • Experience in sales administration and marketing strategies • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client needs • Excellent communication skills for effective client engagement and team collaboration • Familiarity with benefits administration processes and industry compliance standards such as HIPAA • Prior experience in telemarketing or customer service roles is advantageous • Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic plans for business growth This role is ideal for a anyone that has been looking to start their independent book of business but just needs the access.
