Title: Managing Real Estate Associate Location: New York, Midtown Salary: $370,000 – $430,000, based on experience and location Job Description: This Real Estate practice brings specialized expertise at the intersection of real estate, infrastructure, and technology-driven development, including data centers, logistics, industrial, and mixed-use projects. This team has deep experience structuring and closing large-scale infrastructure and data center projects, navigating regulatory approvals, energy and utility agreements, land use, and construction contracts. About the Role: You will represent developers, owners, investors, REITs, lenders, and corporate occupiers in complex transactions across multiple asset classes, including industrial, office, retail, multifamily, mixed-use, community facilities, and data centres. Your work will include: • Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases (including ground and triple-net), build-to-suit leases, development agreements, joint venture documentation, and other real estate contracts • Leading due diligence, including title, survey, zoning, and land use analyses • Coordinating and closing acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and development transactions • Managing workstreams, mentoring junior lawyers, and ensuring high-quality client deliverables • Collaborating across offices and practice areas to leverage a national and global platform What They're Looking For: • 10+ years of sophisticated real estate transactional experience • Proven track record leading acquisitions and dispositions • Experience coordinating closings, overseeing due diligence, and negotiating complex documentation • Experience at a major law firm with a national practice • Exceptional written and oral communication skills • Strong analytical capabilities and comfort with complex real estate concepts and structures • Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment • Mentoring experience preferred Why This Opportunity Stands Out: You’ll join a fully integrated Real Estate group known for commercial acumen, and navigating complex deals with speed and precision.
