We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Python Developer to join our engineering team and build scalable products across the backend and frontend. This is a high-ownership role where you’ll work closely with the client, contribute to technical decisions, and deliver features from design through deployment. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using Python and modern frontend frameworks • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL • Own features end-to-end, from technical design through deployment and monitoring • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver new features • Write clean, tested, and maintainable code and participate in code reviews • Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers • Contribute to architecture, technical roadmaps, and engineering best practices • Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing practices, and developer tooling Requirements • Based in Brazil or New York, USA • 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong Python expertise • Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript experience with React, Vue, or Angular • Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs • Strong knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and SQL • Experience with an ORM such as Django ORM or SQLAlchemy • Proficiency with Git, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows • Familiarity with AWS and cloud infrastructure • Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, testing, and system design • Excellent English communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Work Model • Brazil: Remote • New York: On-site at 30 Hudson Yards, New York, NY By applying to this position, we’ll create your Simera Professional Key (SPK) — a unique key that helps you connect with employers, stand out, and secure the right match.
