Offensive and Defensive Security Sales Executive Location: Remote (Texas preferred) Compensation: Commission-only About the Role Silpa Consulting is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Executive with deep expertise in offensive and defensive cybersecurity solutions. This role will lead business development for high-impact engagements that simulate, detect, and defend against modern cyber threats. The ideal candidate will possess a balanced understanding of adversarial testing and defensive operations, enabling them to communicate both the risks and the measurable benefits of a strengthened security posture. You will work closely with Silpa’s Red, Blue, and Purple Team experts to deliver tailored solutions that help clients validate their defenses, enhance visibility, and align security investments with business outcomes. This position is designed for a professional who thrives in a consultative, performance-driven environment and is motivated by tangible client impact. Responsibilities • Develop, nurture, and manage client relationships across enterprise and mid-market organizations. • Identify and qualify opportunities for Red Team, Blue Team, and Purple Team engagements i.e. penetration testing, SOC buildouts, or full-scale attack simulations. • Partner with internal security engineers and consultants to scope engagements and define client-specific outcomes. • Translate complex technical concepts into executive-level value propositions focused on risk reduction, cost avoidance, and compliance readiness. • Lead all stages of the sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and close. • Prepare and deliver customized presentations, proposals, and statements of work. • Maintain accurate forecasting, documentation, and CRM data integrity. • Represent Silpa Consulting at security conferences, regional events, and client meetings across Texas and surrounding regions. Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of experience selling cybersecurity services within a consultancy, MSSP, or systems integrator. • Demonstrated knowledge of offensive and defensive domains, including vulnerability management, incident response, and SOC operations. • Strong understanding of frameworks and methodologies i.e. MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, and ISO 27001. • Established professional network of CISOs, CIOs, IT Directors, and Security Program Managers. • Proven ability to communicate technical solutions with credibility and business relevance. • Record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets in a commission-driven model. • Exceptional self-discipline, time management, and motivation to perform autonomously. • Must reside in Texas or be available for in-person client meetings within the state.
