Role Overview: As a Customer Technical Services Representative, you will serve as the primary technical liaison between Silgan Containers and its customers, ensuring exceptional service and support. This role is critical in addressing customer inquiries, resolving technical issues, and providing expert guidance to enhance customer satisfaction and product performance. What You'll Do: - You will respond promptly to customer technical inquiries, providing accurate and detailed information. - You will troubleshoot and resolve product-related issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams. - You will develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and expectations. - You will document and track customer interactions and technical issues using CRM systems. - You will assist in the development of technical documentation and training materials. - You will collaborate with sales and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met. - You will participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery. - You will stay updated on industry trends and product developments to provide informed support. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical customer service or support role, preferably in manufacturing or packaging. - Strong knowledge of metal container products and manufacturing processes. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working remotely and managing virtual customer relationships. - Background in quality assurance or product development. - Technical certification or training related to packaging or manufacturing. - Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.
