Role Overview: As a Customer Technical Services Representative, you will serve as the primary technical liaison between Silgan Containers and its customers, ensuring exceptional service and support. This role is critical in addressing customer inquiries, resolving technical issues, and providing expert guidance to enhance customer satisfaction and product performance. What You'll Do: - You will respond promptly to customer technical inquiries and provide accurate, detailed information. - You will troubleshoot and resolve product-related issues in collaboration with internal teams. - You will develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and expectations. - You will assist in the preparation of technical documentation and product specifications. - You will coordinate with manufacturing and quality teams to address customer concerns. - You will participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery. - You will provide training and support to customers on product usage and best practices. - You will track and report on customer feedback to inform product development. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical customer service or support role, preferably in manufacturing or packaging. - Strong understanding of metal container products and manufacturing processes. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams. - Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to analyze technical data and provide clear solutions. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working remotely and managing customer relationships virtually. - Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory compliance. - Background in engineering or technical education. - Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.
