Role Overview: As a Customer Technical Services Representative, you will serve as the primary technical liaison between Silgan Containers and its customers, ensuring exceptional service and support. This role is critical in addressing customer inquiries, resolving technical issues, and providing expert guidance to enhance customer satisfaction and product performance. What You'll Do: - You will respond promptly to customer technical inquiries, providing accurate and detailed information. - You will troubleshoot and resolve product-related issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams. - You will develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and expectations. - You will assist in the preparation of technical documentation and product specifications. - You will support new product launches by providing technical expertise and training to customers. - You will analyze customer feedback to identify trends and recommend improvements. - You will collaborate with sales and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met. - You will participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical customer service or support role, preferably in manufacturing or packaging. - Strong knowledge of metal container products and manufacturing processes. - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze technical issues. - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse stakeholders. - Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working remotely and managing virtual customer relationships. - Background in quality assurance or product development. - Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies. - Technical certification or degree in engineering or related field.
