Role Overview: As a Customer Technical Services Representative, you will serve as the primary technical liaison between Silgan Containers and its customers. Your role is to provide expert support, resolve technical issues, and ensure customer satisfaction by delivering timely and effective solutions. What You'll Do: - You will respond promptly to customer inquiries and technical issues related to packaging products. - You will collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve product performance concerns. - You will provide detailed technical guidance and product information to customers. - You will document customer interactions and technical solutions accurately in the CRM system. - You will assist in the development of technical training materials and customer support documentation. - You will monitor product quality feedback and communicate trends to the quality assurance team. - You will support new product launches by providing technical expertise to customers and sales teams. - You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and product innovations. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical customer service or support role, preferably in manufacturing or packaging. - Strong understanding of metal packaging products and manufacturing processes. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams. - Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to analyze technical data and provide clear, actionable solutions. - Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working remotely and managing customer relationships virtually. - Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO standards. - Background in engineering or technical education related to packaging. - Familiarity with supply chain and logistics processes.
