Job Title: Customer Technical Services Representative Company Overview: Silgan Containers LLC is a leading manufacturer of metal containers for the food, beverage, and household products industries. With a commitment to innovation and quality, Silgan Containers serves a diverse customer base across North America, providing reliable packaging solutions that meet the highest standards. Role Overview: As a Customer Technical Services Representative, you will be the primary technical liaison between Silgan Containers and its customers. Your role is to provide expert support, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure customer satisfaction by delivering timely and effective solutions. What You'll Do: - You will respond promptly to customer inquiries and technical issues related to container products. - You will collaborate with internal teams to resolve product quality and performance concerns. - You will analyze customer feedback and provide recommendations for product improvements. - You will maintain detailed records of customer interactions and technical support activities. - You will assist in the development and delivery of technical training materials for customers. - You will support new product launches by providing technical expertise and customer guidance. - You will monitor industry trends and competitor products to inform customer support strategies. What You Bring: - You bring at least 3 years of experience in a technical customer service or support role, preferably in manufacturing or packaging. - You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. - You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers and internal teams. - You are proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - You have a technical background or education in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working remotely and managing customer relationships virtually. - Knowledge of metal container manufacturing processes. - Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO standards. - Additional language skills to support diverse customer bases.
