Job Title: Customer Technical Services Representative Company Overview: Silgan Containers LLC is a leading manufacturer of metal containers for the food, beverage, and household products industries. Role Overview: As a Customer Technical Services Representative, you will be the primary technical liaison between Silgan Containers and its customers. Your role is to provide expert support, resolve technical issues, and ensure customer satisfaction by delivering timely and effective solutions. What You'll Do: - You will respond promptly to customer inquiries and technical issues related to container products. - You will collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve product performance concerns. - You will provide detailed technical information and guidance to customers. - You will document customer interactions and technical resolutions accurately. - You will assist in product testing and quality assurance processes. - You will support sales teams with technical expertise during customer engagements. - You will identify opportunities for product improvements based on customer feedback. - You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and product developments. What You Bring: - You have 3+ years of experience in a technical customer service or support role, preferably in manufacturing or packaging. - You possess strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude. - You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - You are proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - You have the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the metal packaging or container manufacturing industry. - Knowledge of quality control and product testing methodologies. - Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles. - Technical certification or relevant engineering background.
