Role Overview: As a Customer Technical Services Representative, you will be the primary technical liaison between Silgan Containers and its customers. Your role is to provide expert support, resolve technical inquiries, and ensure customer satisfaction by addressing product-related issues efficiently and professionally. What You'll Do: - You will respond promptly to customer technical inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels. - You will troubleshoot and resolve product-related issues, collaborating with internal teams as needed. - You will provide detailed product information and technical guidance to customers. - You will document customer interactions and technical solutions accurately in the company’s CRM system. - You will assist in the development and delivery of technical training materials for customers. - You will monitor product performance feedback and communicate insights to product development teams. - You will support sales teams by providing technical expertise during customer engagements. - You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and product advancements. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical customer service or support role, preferably in manufacturing or packaging. - Strong understanding of metal packaging products and manufacturing processes. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams. - Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to analyze technical problems and provide clear, actionable solutions. - Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working remotely and managing customer relationships virtually. - Background in quality assurance or product development. - Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles. - Additional technical certifications related to packaging or manufacturing.
