Job Title: Customer Technical Services Representative Company Overview: Silgan Containers LLC is a leading manufacturer of metal containers for the food and beverage industry, committed to delivering high-quality packaging solutions. Role Overview: As a Customer Technical Services Representative, you will serve as the primary technical liaison between Silgan Containers and its customers. Your role is to provide expert support, resolve technical issues, and ensure customer satisfaction by delivering timely and effective solutions. What You'll Do: - You will respond promptly to customer inquiries and technical issues related to container products. - You will collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve product performance concerns. - You will provide technical guidance and product information to customers to support their operational needs. - You will document and track customer interactions and technical issues using company systems. - You will assist in the development and delivery of technical training materials for customers. - You will analyze customer feedback to identify trends and recommend product improvements. - You will support sales teams by providing technical expertise during customer engagements. - You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and product developments. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical customer service or support role, preferably in manufacturing or packaging. - Strong understanding of metal container products and related manufacturing processes. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical information clearly. - Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working remotely and managing customer relationships virtually. - Background in food and beverage packaging industry. - Technical training or certification related to manufacturing or packaging. - Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory compliance.
