Role Overview: As a Customer Technical Services Representative, you will be the primary technical liaison between Silgan Containers and its customers. Your role is to provide expert support, resolve technical issues, and ensure customer satisfaction by delivering timely and effective solutions. What You'll Do: - You will respond promptly to customer inquiries and technical issues related to container products. - You will collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve product performance concerns. - You will provide technical guidance and product information to customers to support their operational needs. - You will document and track customer interactions and technical issues using company systems. - You will assist in the development and delivery of customer training and technical materials. - You will analyze customer feedback to identify trends and recommend product improvements. - You will support sales teams by providing technical expertise during customer engagements. - You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and product innovations. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical customer service or support role, preferably in manufacturing or packaging. - Strong understanding of metal container products and manufacturing processes. - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze technical issues. - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and internal teams. - Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in the packaging or metal container industry. - Technical background or degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field. - Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory compliance. - Bilingual skills or additional language proficiency.
