Role Overview: As a Customer Technical Services Representative, you will serve as the primary technical liaison between Silgan Containers and its customers. Your role is to provide expert support, resolve technical issues, and ensure customer satisfaction by delivering timely and effective solutions. What You'll Do: - You will respond promptly to customer inquiries and technical issues related to container products. - You will collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve product performance concerns. - You will provide detailed technical guidance and product information to customers. - You will document customer interactions and technical resolutions accurately. - You will assist in the development of technical training materials and resources. - You will monitor customer feedback to identify trends and recommend improvements. - You will support sales teams with technical expertise during customer engagements. - You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and product innovations. What You Bring: - You bring at least 3 years of experience in a technical customer service or support role, preferably in manufacturing or packaging. - You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly. - You possess proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - You have a technical background or education in engineering, packaging, or a related field. - You demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working remotely and managing customer relationships virtually. - Knowledge of metal container manufacturing processes and quality standards. - Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies. - Bilingual abilities or additional language skills.
