Role Overview: As a Customer Technical Services Representative, you will serve as the primary technical liaison between Silgan Containers and its customers. Your role is to provide expert support, resolve technical issues, and ensure customer satisfaction by delivering timely and effective solutions. What You'll Do: - You will respond promptly to customer inquiries and technical issues related to container products. - You will collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve product performance concerns. - You will provide detailed technical guidance and product information to customers. - You will document customer interactions and technical resolutions accurately in the CRM system. - You will assist in the development of technical training materials and resources. - You will monitor product quality feedback and communicate trends to the quality assurance team. - You will support sales teams by providing technical expertise during customer engagements. - You will participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer service processes. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical customer service or support role, preferably in manufacturing or packaging. - Strong understanding of metal container products and manufacturing processes. - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze technical issues effectively. - Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical information clearly. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in the food and beverage packaging industry. - Technical background or degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field. - Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory compliance. - Bilingual skills or additional language proficiency.
