Role Overview: As a Customer Technical Services Representative, you will serve as the primary technical liaison between Silgan Containers and its customers. Your role is to provide expert support, resolve technical issues, and ensure customer satisfaction by delivering timely and effective solutions. What You'll Do: - You will respond promptly to customer inquiries and technical issues related to container products. - You will collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve product performance concerns. - You will provide detailed technical guidance and product information to customers. - You will document customer interactions and technical resolutions accurately. - You will assist in the development of technical training materials and resources. - You will monitor product quality feedback and communicate trends to the quality assurance team. - You will support sales efforts by providing technical expertise during customer meetings. - You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and product innovations. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical customer service or support role. - Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and metal container products. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to analyze technical data and provide clear solutions. - Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the packaging or food and beverage industry. - Technical background in engineering or related field. - Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO standards. - Previous remote work experience.
