SAP Basis & Test Manager Location: Remote POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Manager to lead the administration, planning, and optimization of our SAP landscape. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of all SAP systems across development, quality assurance, and production environments. This role will also involve leading a team of Basis administrators and collaborating with functional and technical teams to support business needs and strategic initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the SAP Basis team, ensuring system stability and high performance. Develop and own the end-to-end SAP test strategy, including functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing. Manage the full testing lifecycle for SAP projects, including test planning, test case design, test execution, defect management, and reporting. Plan, install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, PI/PO, SLT, Solution Manager, etc.). Lead SAP upgrades, support packages, kernel patches, and system refreshes. Monitor system performance and implement proactive tuning strategies. Manage transport management system (TMS) and oversee system copies, backups, and recovery procedures. Ensure compliance with IT security policies and implement appropriate controls for SAP environments. Coordinate with infrastructure, database, and application teams to manage integrations and resolve issues. Collaborate with project managers and SAP functional/technical teams during implementations, migrations, or system enhancements. Vendor and license management for SAP and third-party tools (e.g., backup, monitoring, automation). Develop and maintain system documentation, policies, and operational procedures. Stay current with new SAP technologies and recommend strategic improvements. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 7+ years of SAP Basis administration experience. Experience as a Test Manager 5+ years of experience in a managerial or team lead role. Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA,BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, SLT, PI/PO. Strong knowledge of SAP HANA, Oracle, or other database platforms. Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Fiori, and integration technologies. Proficient in OS administration (Linux, Windows, or Unix). Experience with backup/recovery tools, job scheduling, and system monitoring solutions. Preferred Qualifications: SAP Certified Technology Associate or Professional. Experience with SAP on Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of DevOps, automation tools, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. The salary range for this opportunity is $106,000 - $150,000.
