Full Description

Job Description: • Join SignalFire’s Talent Network for founding front-end engineer roles at VC-backed startups • Build and scale user-centric applications at early-stage startups • Design and develop scalable, high-performance front-end applications • Build intuitive, responsive, and visually engaging UI/UX experiences • Optimize front-end performance, accessibility, and responsiveness • Collaborate with product designers, backend engineers, and founders on vision and execution • Develop component libraries and reusable front-end architecture • Implement and maintain state management, API integrations, and client-side logic • Define best practices for front-end development, code quality, and UI testing • Submit an application to join SignalFire’s Talent Ecosystem • SignalFire reviews applications on an ongoing basis and shares profiles with portfolio companies when appropriate Requirements: • 3+ years of front-end development experience with a strong record of shipping user-facing products • Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, including React, Vue.js, Angular, or Svelte • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6+) • Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets • Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, Recoil, Vuex, or MobX • Familiarity with server-side rendering and static site generation, including Next.js or Nuxt.js • Strong understanding of web performance optimization, accessibility (a11y), and security best practices • Proficiency with Git, CI/CD workflows, and front-end testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright • Experience in early-stage startup environments or small, fast-moving teams is a plus Benefits: • $170K–$250K base compensation range • Equity • Visibility into exclusive early-stage opportunities • Potential access to opportunities across SignalFire’s portfolio companies • Potential future matching with front-end engineering roles • SignalFire talent partner or portfolio-company leader outreach if there is a match
