Full Description

Job Description: • Oversee accounting operations, including GL, AR/AP, payroll, and revenue recognition • Manage month-end and year-end close processes • Lead external audits and coordinate with tax and audit partners • Implement and optimize financial systems, processes, and internal controls • Partner with FP&A, Legal, and Operations to align financial data with company goals • Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and board reporting packages • Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements • Build, mentor, and manage small accounting teams as the company scales • Submit an application to join SignalFire’s Talent Ecosystem and be considered for opportunities across portfolio companies Requirements: • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience • At least 2+ years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role • Prior experience in a venture-backed startup or high-growth environment • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and compliance frameworks • Experience managing audits and working with external accounting firms • Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Ramp, and Bill.com • CPA certification strongly preferred • Background in SaaS, fintech, or technology sectors is a plus Benefits: • Offers Equity • Potential access to exclusive early-stage finance leadership opportunities • Profile shared with SignalFire portfolio companies for opportunity matching
