Position Summary The Security Account Manager is the primary contract leader for armed guard services. This individual will manage all aspects of contract execution, including scheduling, supervision, compliance, training coordination, reporting, and client communication. This is an armed leadership role that operates onsite and in the field, requiring high visibility, excellent communication skills, people management, responsiveness, and professionalism. Position Details Location: Tampa Bay, FL Pay: $78,500 annually + Benefits Schedule: Full-Time, On-Site (40+ hours per week; flexible schedule required) Competitive Benefits Package: • Insurance Options – Major medical, dental, and vision coverage available. • Tuition Assistance – Get up to $3,500 for continuing education. • Performance-Based Incentives – Earn up to $1,200 in additional rewards. • Annual Pay Increases – Your hard work and dedication won’t go unnoticed. • Professional Development – Access to 150+ industry-specific training courses. • 401(k) Retirement Plan – Secure your long-term financial future Key Responsibilities: • Client Relations & Reporting • Act as the dedicated, on-site point of contact for the client. • Conduct weekly meetings with client representatives to provide updates and resolve issues. • Maintain availability by phone, email, or text at all times for urgent needs. • Submit quarterly performance reports, including survey feedback, personnel assessments, and improvement plans. • Staff Management & Scheduling • Assign and supervise all personnel, including site supervisors, operations center supervisor, field operations supervisor, and shift supervisors. • Ensure all posts are filled as scheduled and develop contingency coverage plans for emergencies. • Monitor, coach, and engage with guards during shifts; assess performance in the field. • Operational Leadership • Work on-site full-time, adjusting schedule to review day, evening, and overnight operations. • Ensure supervisors are not diverted to guard duties except in emergency situations. • Provide leadership, guidance, and accountability for supervisors and officers across all sites. • Coordinate reports, incident documentation, and operational updates to ensure accuracy and timeliness. • Compliance & Performance Management • Monitor guard and supervisor performance in dependability, alertness, appearance, compliance, and task effectiveness. • Identify areas for improvement and develop corrective action or training plans. • Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and contract specifications. • Continuity & Coverage • Ensure an alternate point of contact is designated when off duty. • Notify client representatives in advance of planned absences, or immediately in case of emergency. • Maintain 24/7 availability through designated company representatives to ensure uninterrupted service coverage. Minimum Requirements: • Minimum 4 years’ experience managing large-scale security operations or public sector contracts. • Ability to pass a drug screening. • High school diploma or GED. • Clean criminal background and eligibility for employment via E-Verify. • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. • Background in law enforcement, military, or private security preferred. • Active Florida Class “D” and “G” licenses • Proven success in staff leadership, scheduling, emergency response, and multi-site operations. • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. Preferred but Not Required: Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement is a plus.
