Full Description

Objective: This position is the gateway for all jobs going to the custom sign department, and it is your responsibility to make sure orders are complete, accurate, and ready for production in every way. Sales and Client Relations: • Meet with clients to sell, design, plan, and estimate job costs. This requires in-house and on-site meetings, phone calls, email communications, etc. • Schedule and/or perform site surveys for planning, estimating, and design purposes. Estimate job costs to ensure jobs are profitable and proper margins are met. Use estimating program so job specifics and calculations are readily available. • Prepare, submit, and coordinate permits as needed per city and county requirements. • Provide clients with sales documentation, proofs, estimates, etc. Make sure all interaction with clients is professional, courteous, and according to Sign Pros’ standards. • Maintain communication with clients throughout the manufacturing and installation process. Keep clients informed of installation and due dates, and make them aware of any alterations to the schedule Design, Prepress, & Ordering Processing: • Create visual designs using graphic art programs as required for sales and project communication. • Maintain communication with other Sign Pros departments. Work with Sign Pros employees as needed to prepare and submit orders for the Custom Sign Department. Answer questions and provide technical assistance as needed. Work closely with the Custom Sign Department to make sure product designs are sound, standards are met, and jobs are produced with both quality and value • Provide material and hardware callouts, structural design, and specify fabrication techniques making sure responsible and generally accepted standards are met • Verify billing terms and payment. Make sure pre-pay orders have been paid, and that net 30 orders are properly set up with valid account and contact information • Confirm production time, due date, and installation schedule with Custom Sign Project Manager prior to submitting order. After approval, communicate schedules (both internally and to client) and submit the order General: • Provide technical assistance to staff as needed. • Help the Custom Sign Project Manager maintain the most productive and efficient department possible. • Provide assistance in fabrication, installation, or other areas as needed. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills: • Proficiency in programs such as Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop is a must, and other graphic design software is a plus • Must understand how to design in PMS and CMYK color spaces. • Ability to read architectural drawings and take off. • Familiar with ADA standards for signs. • Ability to create custom graphics & cutsheets. • Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment Work Environment: • This position is 40 hours per week, plus overtime as needed. • Valid driver’s license needed. • •Office and Warehouse setting Please email resumes to Rippen Thind Rippen.Thind@signpros.net Job Type: Full-time Pay: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Retirement plan • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
