Job Title: Lead Java Full Stack Developer Location: Pittsburgh, PA / Cleveland, OH Visa: USC or GC Only Interview: Video Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Lead Java Full Stack Developer to join our team supporting strategic initiatives at PNC. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in modern Java technologies, microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and front-end development using Angular. This role requires both technical leadership and hands-on development experience to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications. Required Technical Skills • 8+ years of software development experience • Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17 • Expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Framework • Experience designing and developing Microservices Architecture • Strong experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven systems • Hands-on experience with Angular (8+) • Experience with RESTful APIs and web services • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Key Responsibilities • Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade applications. • Develop scalable and high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. • Design and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka. • Build responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using Angular. • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver solutions. • Participate in technical design discussions and architecture reviews. • Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices. • Mentor junior and mid-level developers. • Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical solutions. • Drive continuous improvement in development processes and engineering practices. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in Banking or Financial Services domain. • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. • Exposure to cloud-native application development. • Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD automation. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. • Proven experience leading development teams and delivering complex projects. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong verbal and written communication skills Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year Work Location: Remote
