Children’s Martial Arts Instructor – Full Time Martial Arts Coach | Kids Instructor | Youth Sports Coach Sigma Martial Arts & Fitness – Medford, MA $40,000–$70,000 per year + Bonus | Full-Time (40 hrs/week) Sigma Martial Arts & Fitness is hiring a Full-Time Children’s Martial Arts Instructor to lead our growing children's martial arts program (ages 3–12). This is a career-track coaching position for someone who wants to teach full-time, grow professionally, and make a real impact through martial arts and youth development. This position is ideal for candidates with experience as a: • Martial Arts Instructor • Kids Martial Arts Coach • Youth Sports Coach • Fitness Coach for Children • After-School Program Instructor Job Responsibilities • Teach structured martial arts classes for children ages 3–12 • Maintain a fun, safe, and disciplined training environment • Manage class flow, behavior, and student engagement • Communicate clearly and professionally with parents • Support student retention, attendance, and development • Assist with trial classes, new student onboarding, and enrollment support • Participate in staff training, meetings, and ongoing education • Follow all safety procedures and curriculum standards Required Qualifications • Experience working with children in a coaching, teaching, sports, or fitness role • Background in martial arts, wrestling, boxing, BJJ, MMA, karate, taekwondo, judo, or youth sports preferred • Strong leadership, communication, and classroom control • Professional, reliable, and punctual • Able to work evenings and weekends as needed • Available full-time (40 hours per week) • Must pass a background check You do not need to be a black belt. We hire for teaching ability, leadership, and professionalism first.
