Here you will work in a modern, dynamic factory environment. The Warehouse/Logistics Sr. Manager will report to the Plant Manager responsible for our highly visible facility in Fort Worth,TX. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the entire spectrum of warehouse operations and logistics processes. This role encompasses the full lifecycle of material management—from the receipt and storage of raw materials and incoming components to their distribution throughout the plant for production, and ultimately, the shipment of completed equipment to customers. The successful candidate will ensure that all warehouse activities, internal material flows, and outbound logistics are executed safely, efficiently and accurately, while optimizing material handling processes and leading continuous improvement initiatives improving the overall You will make an impact by: • Ensure that all warehouse and logistics operations adhere to Siemens' safety standards and local regulations. • Manage the warehouse and logistics organization, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement where employees feel valued and motivated to contribute to the team's success. • Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to optimize space utilization, reduce waste, and improve efficiency. • Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components, minimizing downtime and production delays. • Ensure that all import/export activities comply with local and international regulations, including accurate and timely documentation. You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: • BS/BA, BS in business or related field or equivalent. • Minimum of ten years of experience in a Supply Chain/Logistics management role. • Experience with warehouse operations, material handling systems, and transportation logistics. • Experience getting exemption from API; lean cycle counting needed. • Experience with supply material on a one piece flow production line. • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software; SAP preferred. • Experience with import/export compliance and regulations as well as well as with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies. • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
