The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets. Transform the everyday with us We are looking for an Hourly Quality Breaker Test Technician to join our team! This position will be based at our Fort Worth, TX site. Here you will work in a modern, dynamic factory environment. Hourly Rate: $22.00 - $29.50 You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: • 1+ years in a manufacturing environment. • Ability to pass NFPA70E certification; training will be provided by Siemens. • Speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language along with Blueprints/engineering drawings. • Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical/measuring/inspection tools. • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: • 2 years manufacturing with knowledge of breakers and electrical background • High school diploma or equivalent. • SAP Experience You’ll make an impact by: • Ensuring the quality standards and applicable codes are met through completing inspections, design reviews, testing operations (mechanical) and troubleshooting. • Deliver specialized support services towards mechanical testing support for electromechanical equipment (e.g. Low Voltage Switchgear, Switchboards, etc.). • Test and inspect the mechanical aspect of Switchboards, Panelboards, and Breakers to applicable standards (UL1558, UL891, IEEE, UL50, UL67, etc.) • Preparing finished units for shipping (packing, sealing, labeling, etc.). • Perform inspections/audits of mechanical assemblies while maintaining all the related records and reports. • Understand and train ISO Quality Requirements, Product Safety Requirements and JHA. • Performs other work as advised by Supervision. • Interact with various of departments and customers routinely.
