Position Summary: Are you a progressive leader passionate about redefining the Aerospace and Defense (A&D) industries with groundbreaking technology? As our Global Industry Leader, you will define and implement the strategic direction for Siemens Digital Industries Software within A&D, driving software revenue growth, especially in SaaS models, and rapidly growing market share. This pivotal role involves deep understanding of industry processes to guide sales and marketing strategies and shaping innovative software solution development, influencing investment priorities. You will employ your proven expertise in technology sales and strategy to engage directly with A&D customer executives and internal Siemens teams, leading critical initiatives and encouraging teamwork within our matrixed organization. TheAerospaceandDefenseIndustryLeaderwillbe responsible for: • Industry Strategy & Business Planning: Develop and communicate a comprehensive A&D industry strategy (including product, sales, marketing, and M&A priorities) to drive global market growth and expansion, collaborating with sales teams worldwide. • Go-to-Market Execution: Develop and implement go-to-market strategies and messaging in partnership with marketing, representing Siemens at key industry events, and driving cross-industry collaboration for standard methodology solutions. • Sales & Customer Engagement: Drive global sales alignment to the A&D strategy, equip sales teams to win against competitors, disseminate industry-specific knowledge, and lead major customer pursuits. • Solution Definition & Innovation: Define product direction and investment priorities, shaping solution development and portfolio investments based on market trends, competitive analysis, customer needs, and SaaS opportunities, in close collaboration with product and technical teams to define technical issues, gaps, and specific required solutions for their industry. Qualifications include: • Proven ability to lead extended teams in a complex matrix organization • Substantial executive business experience in the enterprise software • Deep Understanding of Aerospace and Defense business and processes, ideally matured working in the industry in relevant roles. • An MBA or other graduate degree is desirable. • Deep Understanding of digital technology in engineering and manufacturing processes.. • Key Attributes for this role include critical thinking, competitive assessments, business insight, technology foundation, business development. • Executive presence is required, with proven success, to work with internal and customer executives. • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills are required.
